A literal unearthing of a great Goddess and her mythologies have been found in many sacred sites. A multitude of symbols and images reveal the feminine principle as an eternal archetype embodied in the fabric of communal life. Today there is a spiritual resurgence among women who have a yearning to understand their life purpose; a longing to live meaningful lives with spirit and community. In this class series we will utilize mythology, elder wisdom and archetypes to follow the map of the feminine spirit that moves through our inner and outer journeys. We will deepen our individual journey by building our community through ritual and ceremony, energy medicine and healing, movement and dance, outdoor work with nature, storytelling, imagery, and sound. This class series will be structured around the following topics: • Archetypes, myths and the goddess within. • Energy patterns, loops, spirals and the heroine’s journey. • Vision quest: meeting our guides and teachers. • Energy medicine, our inner temple and the chakra system. • The art of healing, the elements and ceremony.
